Travel vaccines in Liverpool: what you need to know

Common destinations
For long family visits across the Middle East and East Africa, hepatitis A and typhoid are usually the first recommendations, with cholera discussed where the itinerary warrants it. Malaria planning is essential for much of East Africa — our Independent Prescriber prescribes and dispenses tablets, including Maloff Protect, in the same visit — and we advise on yellow fever entry requirements for your route as part of the consultation. NHS or private?
Some protection is free with enough notice: your GP can provide a tetanus–diphtheria–polio booster and, for some destinations, hepatitis A and typhoid — the NHS travel vaccinations guide explains.
